so something told me to call my mom today, well i did, turns out my aunt died this afternoon. she had suffered a head injury, she fell down some basement stairs and banged her head. she was in a coma for awhile, and showing signs of brain damage, but was getting better, but then(like my uncle) had a sudden turn and got worst, and just passed away.
im not writting this entry for your pitty or anything. i just need to write this down. well, to whom who still believe, your god is a fucking bastard. he has once taken another heart from my life. how fucking cruel to take someones life in that way. i dont know what to think, i feel so upset. i cant help but think what the hell is my uncle tommy going to do now, his wife, my aunt, did everything for him due to an amputated leg caused by diabeties, he cant get around easily, and besides, she was his whole life,i dont think ive ever seen a man love a women like he did with her. i fear so much that he is just going to give up and let himself go due to a broken heart.
god is a bastard kid with a magnifying glass, and we are the ants running for cover.

im so stoked about this album, i doubt alot of you guys dont know this band, but please go check them out, they are so unique. the contender was able to play/hang out with these guys on our last tour, simply the best dudes. please give a minute to check them out.
Many people thought that I would just drop the album due to the uncertainties of the band's future. Well, I promised the remaining members of Parallax that the album would still come out as a memorial tribute to the last will and testament of my best friend, Blake Donner. He never got to hear the master or see the final artwork, but this release was the most important thing in his life. Parallax has recovered from their loss, and have decided to continue as a band with a new singer. They're already playing shows to support this record release and it seems like they haven't lost a step. Parallax is one of the few bands that still puts the message ahead of the music, yet the music must play an urgent role as a medium to transfer the message to the masses. They've been compared to a mix of Shai Hulud, With Honor, DEP, Converge, Krakatoa, and more. Their main influences are Iceburn, Catharsis, The Spectacle, 7 Seconds, Youth of Today, Trial, Cable, 108, Threadbare, Botch, Crass, and Coalesce.

This album features a guest spoken word track (put to instrumental music) by Greg Bennick, singer of Seattle band TRIAL. The art was done by buZ blurr (aka Colossus of Roads), a legend in the old school graffiti world. Cory Kilduff (singer for The Rise) of Sons of Nero did the layout. The production and mixing was done by Andy Patterson, drummer for CA's Inside Out.

This CD is also my first Enhanced CD release, containing the full set that Parallax played on October 8th in Seattle (pre-TRIAL reunion) for the Blake Donner Benefit show. Greg Bennick performed the spoken word track that appears on this album, and then the band played the rest of the set instrumental with a mic set up for Blake as a tribute. I'm hoping this video footage will help people add neccessary closure to their lives regarding Blake's sudden death.
